What is Quran?
Quran is the Holy Book of Allah (God). This book is revealed on our beloved Holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W). This book was revealed in the month of 24th Ramazan (The holy month in which Muslim make fast).
The purpose of this book is to guide the mankind that “How
one should live his life in accordance with the rules and regulations set by
Allah”.
Ayat in
Quran
Ayat is the smallest parts of surah. In surah there are many
ayahs. The total number of ayah in Quran is 6666 but some scholars argue that
there are 6236 ayah in Quran.
Roku in
Quran
The total number of Roku in Quran is 558. There are 30 Para
in Holy Quran.
Sajdah in
Quran
The total number of Sajdah in Quran is 14 but some scholars
“says it is 15 in numbers”.
Sajdah is basically bowing down in front of Allah. Sajdah
comes after where Allah has punished someone in Quran.
Allah has given the instruction to shatan to do Sajdah to Hazrat
Adam (A.S) but he refused to do. So, Allah has given the title of mardood to
shatan because he disobeyed Allah. shatan will be given Punishment in the Day
of Judgment and he will go to hell.
Surah in
Quran
The total number of Surah in Quran is 114. The total number
of Makki Surah in Quran is 89 while the total number of Madani Surah in Quran
is 25.
The longest surah in Quran is surah al-Baqarah while the
smallest surah is surah al-kausar. In surah al-Baqarah there are many stories
of prophets, mainly Hazrat Adam (A.s), Hazrat Musa (A.s), Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S).In
this surah Allah has given many Warning to disbeliever and hypocrites.
